Scholarships
The Douglas L. Williams Alumni Chapter prides itself on recruiting future tigers in the Greater Houston area. Chapter members participate in various recruiting activities through the year including college fairs, church visits and presentations to youth groups. Every year, the chapter hosts a bus a trip to GSU’s High School Day and awards scholarships to deserving students from the Houston area. Discover what Grambling State University has to offer and become a “G”!
The DLW Chapter offers scholarships for current and incoming freshmen students from the Houston area. Students who meet the following qualifications are encouraged to apply.

A student currently enrolled at Grambling State University or a graduating high school senior admitted or expected to be admitted by the award date to Grambling State University

A resident of Houston or surrounding areas within a 100-mile radius

A student with an overall GPA of 2.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale)
