The Douglas L. Williams (DLW) Chapter of Grambling University National Alumni Association is a leading HBCU alumni organization in the Houston area and is a 501(c)3 recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempted charitable organization.  Our purpose is to strengthen ties and communications with GSU through the support of alumni, friends, and business partners; as well as provide guidance and scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will attend GSU.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of this organization shall be:

·         To facilitate better communication and relationships  between the University, Graduates and Friends.
·         To encourage the highest type of professional ethics and scholarship among the Alumni and Students.
·         To stimulate school loyalty, devotion and responsibility.
·         To study any propositions concerning the mutual relationships of the University and the various allied                      organizations to the end that both will benefit from their close association.
·         To promote a “Greater Grambling” through the work of the Alumni Association.
