SUBJECT:    CHAPTER PICTURE AND NEWSPAPER ARTICLES

We have been asked by Thelma Williams, Talk Show Host on KGRM and a resident of Grambling, Louisiana to take a group picture of our members and create an article reflecting our achievements. This article will be published in the Ruston Daily Leader, Gramblinite, and discussed on her talk show. I will be in collaboration with the Executive Board as well as several members of the chapter.  Ms. Williams is aware that our next meeting-date is on January 9, 2010. We will take our Chapter’s picture at that time; moreover, Ms. Williams has mentioned that she will like to use our chapter as a model chapter on her talk show, so let us make this picture the best picture ever.

We have received permission from the National Office by Dean Higgins-(National Office Liaison); she asked that we forward all information of our transactions to the National Office.  This is a very good way for the National Office to stay informed of our activities.

The Executive Board needs your support. It was requested that our picture is taken in a business attire appearance - (Black and Gold Suites), due to the fact we do not know where our picture will be publicized once it leaves our hands. The picture will be taken at the end of the January meeting at Judson Robinson Community Center. Also, each member’s name will be added to the picture so the public will be able to identify the dedicated members of the Douglas L. Williams Alumni chapter.
